A perplexed sense of fullness with babies, with Dad
with La and Honey.
Boating, bathing in lake-full waters, laughing even
Yesterday, should have been horrific,
like this day a year past.
A gaping hole never to fill this side of next
bleeds many a tear of woe
deeper dug, deeper sure
yet not like that yesterday-
a grace-in disguise I suppose.
My Jonah scrunches his nose like she did
and I know more steady
past is not fixed firmer than future
forever ahead we have
..we have....yes, we have...
together!
