St. Augustine blades flirt between the toes
sending tingles tap-dancing alongthrilled nerve-endings like his fingers did
when they wrapped into hers.
Wet earth presses back while
Magnolia-colored cotton lays loose
down to the ankle, veiling her hour glass frame
The breeze caresses,
lifts chestnut ribbons effortlessly
across high cheek-bones, flushed.
Wisps tease the neck line
leaves in tribal-dance
Expectant his whisper will find her again,
